What Kind of Protein Supplements Should I use?

Supplements are tricky because they typically are not regulated by the FDA. So honestly you really never know what you’re getting in there. For that reason I’ve researched quite a few protein powders and liquids over the past few years and I usually stick with one of the following!:

    Vegan Protein Option

Plantfusion is my go to powder option. I buy it on Amazon and it lasts over a month! Of course, that depends on how much you us it. I like that one scoop is a service so I feel like it’s a good value (even though it’s pricey).

Sometimes whey protein in large amounts upsets my stomach so that’s why I found the vegan option and I really prefer it over cows milk protein sources.

    Liquid Option

Premier Protein Is my favorite liquid option! I usually get this off Amazon as well but Walmart carries it and so does Costco. There are so many flavors! One of my favorite things to do is mix this in coffee for a Breakfast that is easier to eat on the go.

One of the most delicious protein shakes I’ve ever tried is the Fair Life protein line. It is more expensive —like four or five dollars a bottle so I usually don’t splurge for it…but when I do it’s always a treat! Of course, it’s on Amazon as well.

    Powder Non Vegan Option

There are a lot of benefits to collagen and I won’t going to detail that here but this is one of my favorite protein options too! The main reason is it doesn’t add any flavor. That makes it a great option to mix into your coffee in the morning for a protein boost. I have even mixed it into a soup at lunch! It can be added to some thing that you don’t want to add any flavor to but need to add protein to. Again, with Amazon!
