Why a library?
As a dietitian working in pediatrics, I was constantly creating materials and resources to help families put nutrition education into practice when they go home. I knew they needed tangible tips and practical steps to make real lifestyle change, but there were no great resources available.
As I continued to make them, I couldn’t help but think about how other healthcare workers probably struggle with finding materials as well! I gathered my resources and built the library to share with you in the hopes of making your life just a little bit easier!
The Nutrition Library handouts range from school nutrition, appropriate portion sizes, picky eating, infant nutrition, and even weight management education. The handouts are updated frequently and new resources are added monthly.
What The Library can do for you:
- An up to date, online collection of evidence based resources to complement your practice.
- We provide the educational resources, so you can focus on direct patient care.
- Save your practice time and money by offering ready to use nutrition based handouts.
What will it cost?
The resources are free! Just be sure to credit the Library when you use them!
Your clients and patients will be more likely to learn from your visit and to implement changes in their everyday routine.
New resources will be available each month and we welcome requests and input about resources that will be the most helpful to you and your practice. Just remember, they are for educational purposes only.
